It is a common myth that security guards do not need training.
Are you in a security role that requires you to carry a concealed weapon? Maybe you simply like to keep a weapon on you as needed for personal protection. In either case, obtaining your concealed carry license (CCL) is required in most states by law. While CCL licensure is not difficult to achieve, your license may not grant you permission to carry a concealed weapon long-term. You will likely have to seek CCL license renewal at some point to keep your license valid.
